    BACKGROUND:

    His family developed Papa Gino’s, a 300+ unit pizzeria brand across the Northeast US. Later, he became the first franchisee for the Pi-Squared Pizza franchise out of Hendersonville, NC. It was during this time that he crossed paths with Sherman Walters, the current CEO of National Restaurant Properties, when the two were both working in the Greenville SC area.
