National Restaurant Properties recently represented Raahi Indian to lease the former Brown Bag Seafood location in CLT’s South End Community.
In 2020, the NRP Charlotte team sold a small restaurant space to Cholanadu Indian Bistro in Tega Cay, SC to an upstart Indian chef. Today Cholanadu is recognized as one of the best Indian restaurants in the Fort Mill/Tega Cay area.
When NRP was approached by Thrift Commercial to backfill this space in South End, we surveyed the competitive landscape and targeted a use/menu that wasn’t currently present in the highest demand retail sector on the East Coast, not called Manhattan NY. The owners of Cholanadu floated to the surface and we began a 2-month process of presenting the concept and negotiating lease details.
