When the owners of Vegeez Restaurant wanted to sell their spot in Waxhaw NC, they hired the National Restaurant Properties Charlotte team to find a suitable replacement for their space.
In a key-money acquisition deal, Jon & Amy Fortes from Flipside Restaurant Group (Flipside Cafe in Rock Hill & Fort Mill, Sameri’s Italian Kitchen in Fort Mill & FM Eatery in Downtown Fort Mill, acquired the Vegeez spot to launch their new Sip & Cinder brand.
Jon & Amy Fortes are graduates of Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte. In 2009 they launched their first concept, Flipside Cafe, in a little spot in Fort Mill and have never looked back. This marks their 5th restaurant in the Charlotte area.
